I'm a breakfast monkey

Saturday was supposed to be a busier one than it turned out to be. My original plans for Saturday looked like this: 8:15am-9:15am fit in a 20 min swim, 11am hair apt, 2:30 go rock climbing, 6pm dinner plans.

Saturday turned out looking like this: 8:15am woke up saw the time, and rolled back over and slept for another 45 mins, other than that the plans stayed the same.

This is what my hair looked like before going to the hair dressers. Now mind you this is a little bedheadish, but you get the idea. For me I saw that I needed my roots touched up and the shape of my hair was looking boxy and square.
got the foils in, its a good look isn't it!
This is what it looked like after. short at the back longer in the front. Bangs straight
For breakfast I decided to make some eggs, 1 whole egg, and 1/4 cup of egg whits (2 egg whites)
Some butter to cook the eggs An orange instead of orange juice and whole wheat toast with 1 tbsp raspberry jam
After getting home from the hair dressers, it was 1:30 and I was starving. Seeing as I love breakfast, Kevin says we are a cereal family lol this is what I had for lunch.
1 1/4 cup of Kellogs Corn Flakes, 1 tsp honey and 1 whole banana with 3/4 cup milk.

After mowing down on my lunch, we were off to go to Peterborough for our Rock Climbing adventure. It was rainy and hazy, and my windshield wipers were so hypnotic. I needed some energy, a pick me up.

1 almond snickers, fewer calories and less sodium than a regular snickers with peanuts. Who knew!?

Kevin and I went and had our lesson in indoor rock climbing. We spend about 2 hours climbing and belaying (letting the other person down). It was so much fun. I am sad though that we don't have any pictures of this, as it is a 2 person activity, while one is climbing the other is keeping the rope tight so in case you fall you aren't falling down. Oh well maybe next time we will have someone else with us who can snap some pics.
After that we went off to a local restaurant in PTBO called St. Veronus. I really enjoyed it there. Sadly though Kevin's cousin Steve and his fiance Brittney did not enjoy what they had.
I ordered a half pint of Stella light. Kevin got a 500ml of Hoegaarden.

This is what we ordered for an app, while we waited for Steve and Britt to meet us.

Baguette, tomatoes, red and green peppers, cucumber, celery, pickled cauliflower, pickled beats, pearl onions, pickled string beans, cheeses (blue, bree & mozzarella) grapefruit, orange, kiwi, strawberry, red grapes, with a roasted corn, roasted red pepper olive pate.

This is the salad I ordered for dinner. I asked for my fire roasted red pepper dressing on the side, and I asked that they prepackage half the salad to go before they brought it out to me, which they so nicely did.
Mediterranean salad with feta kalamata olives, tomato cucumber, sprouts carrots on a bed of spring lettuce.

After dinner we went to Steve's friends Jay and Christina's to watch the Leafs play the Oilers(the leafs actually won!) There I was a bad girl. Though I drank my water and did not have more beer, I did have several handfuls of chips, jujubes, and grape tomatoes. Oh well, its not going to completely undo all the hard work I've done to this point.

Estimated calories taken in 2,054 (I was over by 121, over in my carbs by 34 and over in my sodium intake by 1,917 points).

Burned calories with rock climbing 553.

  2. Rock climbing sounds like fun.

And I look forward to the day I'm skinny enough to take up lap swimming again. :)
